Hello everyone, I have returned to my blog around the same time I started it one year ago. I have been re-inspired by the warm weather. With warm weather comes warmer water, and with warmer water comes microbes! On 5.7.17 my wife and I and our new child went to the nearby woods and I collected 5 samples. This post shares images and a video from a single slide I prepared from sample number 5, which was collected from a rushing spring river.

ADHD and Sustained Tasks
If you read the about page for this blog, I say that this whole publication is about ADHD. While each individual post is on a different topic, the common thread among them is that I get focused on things for a while, then move onto other things because of my ADHD. Sometimes my projects get abandoned forever, but often I come back to them after a while. Anyway, I was looking at my blog stats and I realized that I can graph them to perfectly represent my ADHD.
A Baby Girl
When I was a kid and throughout my early adulthood, I never wanted children. In fact, I had a running list with randomly assigned numbers of reasons never to have children. Some people have always wanted children, and I always marvel at these humans.
Family’s Pet Mauled by Dog
Our good cousins have had their dog Tarzan attacked by another dog. He needs surgery or might not make it. Please consider giving to the gofundme page.

Introducing HR FTW
I work for a company that focuses pretty heavily on matters pertaining to human resources (HR). I wanted to add a little bit of something to the organization, to bring in a slightly different group of readers: comic strip lovers. Here is one of my sample ideas. The other will be published tomorrow. I don’t know if they were sold on the idea at work or not, so I will just make them as ideas strike me and post them here.

Stony Creek, Branford
When people ask me where I live, I tell them Stony Creek. Then they say where? Stony Creek is a village of Branford, CT that very much wants to be its own town. They have their own liquor store, pizza place (that is sometimes open even), library, post office, quarry, and docks. The somewhat famous Thimble Islands are off the coast of Stony Creek, and attract people every summer for tours. I walk to the docks regularly, and thought I’d show you part of Stony Creek from my perspective.
